My first overseas holiday were we spent over two fantastic weeks travelling through Vietnam, starting in the north and heading south down the coast. We started in Ha Noi, spent a few days on Ha Long Bay and Cat Ba Island and then continued down through Hue, Hoi An and Saigon. We had a fantastic time, and everywhere we visited was both scenic and friendly. We can't wait to return to Vietnam, and spend more time in Hoi An and around Ha Noi. We missed out on going to Sapa, so we will definitely have that on our list the next time we visit.
